Tripropylene glycol butyl ether (TPNB)

Propylene glycol butyl ether series are promising environmentally friendly solvents due to their low toxicity and pleasant smell. They are used in industrial/household cleaning agent formulations with extremely high safety and are recognized by many developed countries, especially Japan. The evaporation rate is similar to that of ethylene glycol butyl ether, making it a very good substitute for the latter. They are widely used in coatings, cleaning agents, inks, leather, etc. In the process of dye dissolution, it can be used to replace alcohol solvents and is a good coupling agent. In addition, propylene glycol butyl ether series can also be used as film-forming aids for water-based coatings, photosensitive adhesives, PS plate cleaning, printing, electronic chemicals, jet engine fuel additives (waterproofing agents), extractants and high boiling point solvents.
