"Guidelines for the Preparation of Chemical Safety Operation Procedures in Chemical and Chemical Engineering Laboratories" was issued and implemented

On February 28, the group standard "Guidelines for the Preparation of Chemical Safety Operation Procedures for Chemicals in Chemical and Chemical Engineering Laboratories" (T/CCSAS 050-2024), organized and compiled by the China Chemical Safety Association, was released and implemented.

This standard specifies the requirements for the preparation of safe operating procedures for laboratory chemicals during storage, use, and handling. It is applicable to the preparation of chemical safety operating procedures for teaching/research laboratories in colleges and universities, laboratories of scientific research institutes, enterprise laboratories (including laboratories), testing laboratories, public experimental platforms, etc.; other laboratories or institutions involved in chemical analysis and testing operations can refer to it for implementation; it is not applicable to the preparation of chemical safety operating procedures for chemicals with unclear hazards and chemical test equipment.

This standard, together with the "Chemical and Chemical Laboratory Safety Management Specification" (T/CCSAS 005-2019)、and the "Chemical and Chemical Laboratory Safety Assessment Guide" (T/CCSAS 011-2021), constitute the China Chemical Safety Association's Chemical and Chemical Laboratory Safety Management Series Standards.
